What Is The Savoy Lumière?

The Savoy Lumière is a new film festival specializing in current independent films. We are showing independent, documentary, foreign and short films.

What’s a Lumière?

Lumière is the French word for light (which is necessary for film projection), and also the names of two of the most important people in the history of film, The Lumière Brothers.

Where and when is The Savoy Lumière held?

The festival runs from Thursday, May 29th to Monday, June 2nd. All screenings take place at The Phoenix Savoy 16 + IMAX (232 Burwash Ave. Savoy, IL 61874).

What films are playing, and when?

Our first year features 14 screenings, showcasing 11 feature films and 34 short films. You can see the films playing in our Film Guide, or you can see our schedule.

How much are tickets, and how do I purchase them?

For access to all 14 screenings (a $168 value), you can purchase a full festival badge.
The badge is $125 if purchased before May 1st, and $140 if bought after May 1st.
